Summary of Position
The Safety Supervisor is responsible for implementing and maintaining the facility''s, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs to ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations and company standards. This position promotes a proactive safety culture by conducting inspections, training employees, investigating incidents, and working with all departments to reduce workplace hazards and injuries.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in the implementation and enforcement of facility safety policies and procedures.
Conduct routine safety inspections and audits of assembly, manufacturing, warehouse, maintenance, and office areas.
Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Conduct workplace investigations on injuries, near misses, property damage incidents, and events.
Lead root cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are completed and verified.
Conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and risk assessments.
Coordinate emergency response activities including fire drills, evacuation exercises, and spill response.
Deliver new hire orientation and ongoing safety training.
Administer contractor safety and ensure compliance with site requirements.

Machine Guarding
PPE Requirements
Powered Industrial Trucks
Confined Space
Hot Work
Fall Protection
Hazard Communication
Respiratory Protection
Participate in safety committee meetings.
Support workers'' compensation case management and return-to-work programs.
Perform industrial hygiene monitoring and ergonomic assessments as required.
Assist with regulatory inspections and audits.
Stop work when imminent danger conditions exist.
