Duties of the Position:
Follow student health care plans, under the direction of the District Nurse
Administer First Aid and/or CPR to any person in the building
Administer prescription and non-prescription medication to students under the direction of the District Nurse
Maintain complete and accurate student records, treating student and personnel information as confidential
Communicate the needs of students to District Nurse and Administrators as appropriate
Accurately input Medicaid eligible activities into the District approved Medicaid Billing company
Contact parents/guardians regularly
Assist in inventory control
Diapering, toileting, catheterizing, feeding via feeding tubes, monitoring students with diabetes, performing head lice checks and student transferring are required
Required to complete DPI approved training in the administration of prescription and non-prescription medication.
Stocking Health Rooms as needed
Other health related duties as assigned by District Nurse, Building Principal or Director of Pupil Services
Assisting with secretarial and front office duties as assigned

Degree/Special Training Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
CPR/First Aid Certified or willingness to be certified
Certified Nursing Assistant Certification. Experience in Health Care is a must.
Work Schedule of the Position:
School year calendar, 7.5 hours per day, 7am-3pm with summer employment opportunities available
Anticipated Start Date: 9/8/2026
