Headend Technician

Only qualified Headend Technician candidates located near Bethpage, NY, to be considered due to the position requiring an on-site presence. Essentially, this person is a field service technician who will be part of the team of technicians who work at Network headends, Altice has about 60 headends in the New York Metropolitan Area. They will be assigned to various headends on a weekly schedule. The person needs to have worked in a similar role in one or more of the following environments: ISP, Telecommunications, Enterprise Data Centre, Colocation Facilities, Cable/MSO environment. Job primarily involves mounting Networking equipment such as routers, switches, etc., and Network cabling (CAT5, Fibre, coax, etc.). Testing and troubleshooting cables, etc.
