The New Berlin Eisenhower Athletics and Activities Department is seeking a highly qualified and driven individual to fill the position of Head Varsity Boys Soccer Coach for the 2026-27 season. The Head Varsity Coach is responsible for the oversight of all levels (Varsity, JV, and JV2) of the boys'' soccer program. As a program with a proud tradition within the Woodland Conference, we are looking for a visionary leader who can establish a clear program philosophy, maximize student-athlete potential both academically and athletically, and foster a culture of discipline, integrity, and community engagement.

Primary Responsibilities

Program Vision & Strategy

  • Scout Woodland Conference opponents and develop specific, high-level game plans for every match.

Technical Instruction

  • Provide expert coaching on soccer fundamentals, modern tactical schemes (transitional play, pressing triggers), and situational "match-reading" to ensure a high standard of performance.

Staff Management

  • Lead and manage a quality coaching staff, ensuring JV and JV2 assistants work together cooperatively to provide a consistent developmental experience for all student-athletes.

Athlete Development

  • Work closely with student-athletes, families, and teachers to help players maximize their technical skills while maintaining high academic and behavioral expectations.

Operational Oversight

  • Successfully manage the program's annual budget, oversee equipment (kits, training gear), and strictly adhere to all rules set forth by the District, the conference, and the WIAA.

Community & Youth Engagement

  • Promote the program through summer camps, youth clinics, and active outreach to local soccer clubs. Maintain an enthusiastic commitment to supporting the Booster Club's efforts.

Stakeholder Relations

  • Communicate clearly, effectively, and respectfully with parents, staff, officials, and the media to maintain a positive program reputation.
