Summary
Asset Management One is a New York-based quantitative asset manager (SEC registered investment adviser and CFTC registered CTA/CPO) with approximately $18b under management and advisory. We are seeking a Head Trader.
Position Overview:
The position will lead the firm’s trading division within the firm’s quantitative investment team. The position will be responsible for the oversight, administration and enhancement of the firm’s cross asset trade execution systems and infrastructures. The Head Trader is expected to be familiar with executing transactions in global futures, options, fx, LME markets, seeking to minimize market impact and arrival versus internal benchmarks. The Head Trader should also be familiar with bi-lateral trading of on-swap indices and custom baskets. The role also requires experience with Python to further develop and enhance the automated trade life-cycle processes. In addition, the responsibilities will include working with the quantitative investment team to enhance internal strategies as well as maintain the counterparty relationships across the street.

Requirements
The expected base salary for this role will be in the range of $200,000 - $260,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
