Head Coach — D1 Training West NOLA (Elmwood, LA)
D1 Training West NOLA is hiring a Head Coach to lead our coaching staff and own the athlete experience from day one. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who wants to coach, not just manage. You'll set the standard for every workout in the building and build out the team underneath you.
What you'll do
- Lead our team of coaches and deliver the best workout experience in the industry
- Own the coaching schedule
- Hold quality standards through regular audits and hands-on coaching feedback
- Conduct athlete assessments and goal-setting
- Make sure every athlete is on the right program, motivated, and progressing toward their goals
- Partner with D1 Home Office on programming feedback and share our athletes' success stories
- Make sure every coach on staff earns and keeps their Level 1 "D1 Way" certification
- Report directly to the General Manager
What we're looking for
- A genuine passion for training athletes ages 7 through adult
- Coaching experience and a relevant certification (CSCS, USAW, NASM or similar), or the ability to earn the Level 1 "D1 Way" certification quickly
- Leadership experience — you've led or mentored other coaches
- Strong communication with athletes, parents, and staff
- Someone who lives the D1 core values and brings that energy to the facility and the community
