Capital Area Head Start is seeking a Social Service Coordinator to join our mission of making a difference in the lives of children, empowering parents, and strengthening families.
The Social Service Coordinator is responsible for the overall implementation and coordination of family service supports for families. This role works closely with Family Services staff to implement family-centered programs, support attendance initiatives, facilitate the Family Partnership Agreement process, and provide crisis intervention and emergency assistance when needed.
The Social Service Coordinator also serves as a key resource for child abuse prevention, delivering training, supporting mandatory reporting requirements, and ensuring appropriate follow-up actions are taken.
Social Service Coordinators work 10 months out of the year and enjoy summers off while earning a minimum of $25.42 per hour. Schedules are based on the school year and include 1650 work hours.
