Title: Head of Tax

Salary: $185,000–$215,000 + bonus potential

Location: Hudson, MA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Head of Tax Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Own the preparation and review of quarterly and year-end income tax provisions
• 
  
• Lead tax controls and compliance activities related to SOX and public company reporting
• 
  
• Oversee federal and multi-state income tax filings and related compliance
• 
  
• Manage tax examinations and serve as a key contact for taxing authorities
• 
  
• Work closely with international finance teams on transfer pricing and intercompany activity
• 
  
• Provide tax support for acquisitions, global planning initiatives, equity programs, and special projects
• 
  
• As Head of Tax, coach and develop members of the tax team while setting priorities and driving accountability
• 
  
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Treasury, FP&A, HR, Legal, and Operations
• 
  
• Evaluate current processes and implement improvements around reporting, controls, and efficiency
• 
  

Head of Tax Qualifications:

• 
  
• 10+ years of progressive experience within corporate tax
• 
  
• Deep hands-on knowledge of ASC 740 and income tax accounting
• 
  
• Experience supporting SOX controls and SEC reporting within a publicly traded environment
• 
  
• Strong understanding of U.S. federal and state income tax matters
• 
  
• Proven experience leading quarterly and annual tax provision processes
• 
  
• Exposure to international tax matters is highly preferred
• 
  
• Background within manufacturing, technology, or another complex multinational environment preferred
•
