Role Summary & Focus

• Executive Leadership: Direct all accounting, cash flow, and tax strategies for complex family assets.

• Wealth Protection: Partner with lawyers and advisors on estate planning and trust administration.

• Core Goal: Act as a trusted financial advisor to preserve generational wealth.

Key Duties

• Financial Management: Oversee consolidated reports, budgets, and liquidity.

• Tax & Trusts: Manage fiduciary, gift, and estate filings (Forms 1040, 1041, 706, 709).

• Asset Oversight: Track real estate holdings, private investments, and capital calls.

• Advisor Coordination: Lead communication with external CPAs, bankers, and attorneys. 

Requirements

• Credentials: Active CPA license and a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

• Experience:10+ years guiding financial operations for wealthy families or private offices.

• Technical Skills: Mastery of trust accounting, estate structures, and multi-entity management.

• Traits: High-level discretion, strong communication, and absolute integrity. 

Preferred Backgrounds

• Single or multi-family office experience

• Big Four or top regional public accounting firms

• Private wealth advisory or trust companies

• Advanced degrees like an MBA or MST
