    THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is a fast-growing, seed-funded AI company building AI workers for the US government. Much of government runs on expensive consultants and contractors, a services market several times larger than the entire government software industry. Our client's AI workers are trained and evaluated on the same tasks, cost a fraction as much, and pass most of the savings back to taxpayers.

The company is backed by institutional investors with deep defense and government networks. The team includes repeat founders who have built and sold companies before, plus operators from top-tier defense tech, big tech and federal agencies. It is AI-native all the way through: it builds its own tools in-house, trains its own models and uses its own product every day.

Now they need someone to make sure the right people know about them.

    THE ROLE

This is NOT a traditional marketing role. It's a hands-on creator-operator seat for someone who can take an idea and have it posted and spreading the same day, on their own.

You'll shape how government leaders, the press and the wider tech market see the company. There's no brand book, no sign-off chain and no support team, so you'll need a strong voice, good instincts and the confidence to back them.

    What you'll do:

    • Run the company's social presence, X first, with bold, original and occasionally provocative posts
    • Write, edit and design short-form video and visuals end to end
    • Plan and launch campaigns that get the company talked about in DC and beyond
    • Turn the founders' ideas into content that actually spreads
    • Build an audience among government buyers, the press, investors and tech talent
    • Help plan and fill events that people want to attend
    • Use AI tools daily to work faster than any agency could
    • Track what works, cut what doesn't and do more of what lands

    WHAT YOU'LL BRING

    Must-haves:

    • Proof that your work has landed: accounts you've grown, posts that took off, events you filled. Bring the numbers.
    • Strong creative execution: you can write, edit and design well enough to ship polished short-form video and visuals on your own.
    • Sharp taste: you know the difference between a post that's bold and one that's just loud.
    • Nerve: if your instinct is to play it safe, this isn't the role for you.
    • US citizenship and eligibility for a security clearance.

    Nice-to-haves:

    • You already use AI tools every day
    • You understand politics, defense or gov tech
    • A background in political campaigns, the creator economy or a brand-led startup
    • Events experience

    WHO THRIVES HERE

The company wants an early-career, very-online creator-operator rather than a polished corporate or agency marketer. You'll do well here if you've built things from scratch, you'd rather show your work than describe it, and you like the idea of making government tech the most interesting topic in the room.

Probably not for you if you need a brand guide, prefer strategy decks to shipping content, or would rather get approval than make the call yourself.

    THE PROCESS

    1. First interview with a co-founder and the VP of Operations
    2. Final interview with the co-founders, CEO and CTO

The team moves quickly, and feedback usually comes within hours, not weeks.

    APPLY

Apply with your CV and links to your best work: accounts, posts, videos, campaigns or events. Include the metrics. Your receipts matter more than your résumé.
