Head of Origination

A growing private investment firm is seeking an entrepreneurial professional to build and scale its proprietary sourcing and business development efforts. This individual will be responsible for identifying potential acquisition opportunities, developing market intelligence, managing outreach campaigns, and building relationships with business owners, advisors, and industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and engage prospective acquisition targets through research and outbound outreach.
• Build and maintain CRM systems, target company databases, and market intelligence resources.
• Develop relationships with business owners, referral sources, and industry professionals.
• Qualify opportunities and coordinate with senior leadership on transaction-related discussions.
• Leverage data, technology, and automation tools to improve sourcing effectiveness and pipeline management.

Ideal Background:

• Experience in business development, deal origination, private equity, corporate development, investment banking, sales, or market intelligence.
• Strong communication, research, and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.
• Experience with CRM platforms, outbound prospecting, and data-driven decision making is preferred.
