A leading publicly traded industrial company is seeking a Head of Investor Relations to lead the firm's engagement with the investment community and support its capital markets strategy. This individual will serve as a key liaison between executive leadership and investors, helping communicate the company's performance, strategy, and long-term value proposition.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all investor relations activities, including shareholder engagement, earnings support, investor presentations, and market communications.
- Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors, sell-side analysts, and other market participants.
- Partner with executive leadership to articulate the company's strategy, financial performance, and growth initiatives to the investment community.
- Prepare earnings materials, investor presentations, annual reports, and other communication materials.
- Monitor shareholder trends, analyst coverage, peer activity, and market sentiment.
- Support board reporting, investor targeting efforts, and strategic capital markets initiatives.
- Coordinate closely with Finance, Corporate Communications, and Executive Leadership teams.
Ideal Background
- 8+ years of experience in Investor Relations, Equity Research, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of public company reporting, financial markets, and investor communications.
- Proven ability to build relationships with institutional investors and the analyst community.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skills.
- Strong financial analysis and business acumen with the ability to translate complex information into clear investment messaging.
- Experience supporting earnings cycles, investor conferences, and shareholder engagement initiatives is preferred.
