    Description

    A leading real estate investment manager is seeking a Head of Investor Relations to join its Los Angeles office. This individual will serve as a key member of the firm's leadership team, overseeing investor relations strategy, reporting, communications, and team management while partnering closely with senior executives, investment professionals, and capital formation leadership.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and manage the Investor Relations team, providing mentorship, training, and strategic direction.
    • Oversee investor reporting, quarterly updates, annual meeting materials, fundraising presentations, DDQs, and other LP communications.
    • Translate complex investment, portfolio, and market information into clear and compelling investor narratives.
    • Review fund performance, portfolio activity, and investment results to support best-in-class investor communications.
    • Partner with investment, asset management, finance, and capital formation teams on reporting and fundraising initiatives.
    • Develop sophisticated marketing materials, presentations, and strategic investor content.
    • Support fundraising efforts, investor diligence processes, and ongoing relationship management.
    • Work closely with senior leadership on strategic projects and firmwide initiatives.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree required.
    • 10+ years of relevant experience in investor relations, capital formation, portfolio management, acquisitions, asset management, or a related real estate investment function.
    • Strong understanding of real estate investment fundamentals, fund structures, and portfolio analytics.
    • Ability to interpret financial models, underwriting, investment performance, and fund-level reporting.
    • Exceptional writing, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Experience preparing investor reporting, fundraising materials, DDQs, and institutional marketing content.
    • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
    • Collaborative, entrepreneurial, and relationship-driven mindset.
    • Long-term interest in growing within a highly respected investment platform.
