    Description

    Position Summary
    We are seeking an experienced Head of Human Resources to lead the organization’s HR strategy and day-to-day human resources function. This senior leadership position will partner closely with executive leadership to develop and execute people strategies that support business objectives, strengthen company culture, and improve the overall employee experience.

    The ideal candidate will be a hands-on HR leader with experience supporting a large, established organization and overseeing multiple areas of Human Resources, including employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, compliance, performance management, and organizational development.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Lead the overall Human Resources function and develop HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and managers on employee relations, workforce planning, organizational structure, and HR best practices.
    • Oversee recruiting, onboarding, employee retention, performance management, and succession planning.
    • Lead employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and workplace concerns.
    • Oversee compensation, benefits, HR policies, and employee programs to support attraction and retention of talent.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain effective HR policies and procedures.
    • Develop leadership and employee training programs that strengthen management effectiveness and professional development.
    • Evaluate HR processes, systems, and programs to identify opportunities for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Use HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends and support strategic business decisions.
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team while promoting accountability and a strong service-oriented culture.
    • Partner with leadership to strengthen employee engagement and maintain a positive, productive workplace culture.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required;advanced degree preferred.
    • Significant progressive Human Resources leadership experience, ideally at the Director, VP, or Head of HR level.
    • Strong experience across employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, performance management, compliance, and organizational development.
    • Strong knowledge of federal and Texas employment laws and HR best practices.
    • Experience supporting a sizable employee population and partnering directly with senior executives.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and develop effective people strategies.
    • Strong leadership, communication, relationship-building, and conflict-resolution skills.
    • Experience with HRIS systems and HR reporting/analytics.
    • SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or similar HR certification preferred.
    Ideal Candidate
    A strategic yet hands-on HR leader who is comfortable operating at the executive level while remaining closely involved with employees and day-to-day HR operations. This individual should be an effective communicator and relationship builder who can balance the needs of employees with the goals of the organization.
