Description

A leading global consumer products and manufacturing company is seeking a Head of Health, North America to lead and elevate its employee health and wellness strategy across the region. This is a Director-level, high-visibility role partnering directly with internal stakeholders including the wellness and benefits team, HR, legal, and senior leadership across North America.

This is not a clinical care role. The ideal candidate is a strategic health leader with a strong corporate background who understands how to drive wellness programs, occupational health initiatives, and health performance improvement inside a large, complex organization.

What You Will Do

  • Lead Health and Wellness strategy across North America, ensuring compliance with local regulations and corporate standards
  • Oversee programs spanning Occupational Health, Medical Response, Travel Health, Pandemic Preparedness, Employee Wellness, Mental Health, Health Promotion and Hygiene
  • Provide technical advice on medical insurance and drive employee health and wellbeing initiatives
  • Manage Health Management providers and vendor agreements
  • Consult on and assess health programs across administrative, R&D, and production sites throughout the region
  • Represent Health North America in regional leadership and cross-regional governance meetings
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation across all health-related programs
  • Ensure reporting transparency, operational excellence, and cost efficiency

What You Will Bring

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant healthcare or corporate health experience
  • Clinical credential (NP, PA, MD) or advanced degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field with Occupational Health certification
  • Corporate health leadership experience inside a multinational, consumer goods, or chemical manufacturing company strongly preferred
  • US-based experience working within the US health regulatory environment required
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on operational capability
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically
