Head of Financial Planning & Analysis

Greater Cleveland, OH | Hybrid | $150K–$210K Base + 20% Bonus

Our client, a private equity-backed manufacturing company in the Greater Cleveland area, is seeking a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead its FP&A function. Reporting directly to the CFO and leading a team of three, this individual will own budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial analysis while improving FP&A processes and reporting.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is organized, responsive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning

• Own monthly and quarterly management reporting, KPIs, and variance analysis

• Consolidate forecasts across business units and improve forecast accuracy

• Analyze revenue, EBITDA, margins, working capital, inventory, and cash flow

• Partner with accounting, operations, and leadership to evaluate financial performance

• Improve and standardize FP&A processes and reporting

• Support reporting and analysis for the CFO, executive team, Board, and private equity sponsor

Qualifications:

• 7–12 years of progressive finance, accounting, or FP&A experience

• Public accounting experience strongly preferred

• Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis experience

• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred, particularly in a multi-site or inventory-intensive environment

• Strong accounting foundation; CPA preferred

• Private equity-backed experience is a plus

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

The company is open to an established Director of FP&A or a strong Manager/Senior Manager ready to step into a Director-level opportunity.

Compensation: $150K–$210K base salary + 20% annual bonus.
