Job Description

Lead accounting, financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities across the organization. Partner with senior leaders to provide financial analysis, modelling, and business insights that support strategic decision-making. Support the continued development of financial systems, processes, controls, and reporting capabilities. Drive initiatives that improve operational efficiency, scalability, and data-driven decision-making. Oversee compliance, audit readiness, and the consistency of financial processes and controls. Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and related finance operations activities. Develop financial knowledge and partnership across operational teams and business stakeholders. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team while fostering accountability and continuous improvement. Collaborate cross-functionally to support organizational priorities and long-term planning initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

Required Qualifications & Experience: Strong accounting and finance leadership experience, including budgeting, forecasting, financial management, and long-range planning. Experience supporting senior leadership teams with financial analysis and strategic decision support. Experience operating within complex, multi-entity environments. Demonstrated success improving finance organizations through systems, process, and technology enhancements. Strong understanding of internal controls, compliance, financial stewardship, and audit practices. Experience leading and developing finance teams. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred: Experience leveraging modern financial technologies and data-driven tools to improve business performance. Experience within a mission-driven, nonprofit, education, or community-focused environment is beneficial but not required.
