Qualifications:
- General maintenance or handyman experience (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.)
- Willingness to work flexible hours based on need
- Strong communication skills and ability to take direction
- Dependable and proactive, with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable giving Maintenance staff direction
Reports To: Buildings and Grounds Manager
Job Goal: Provide supervision and direction to Maintenance when Buildings and Grounds Manager requires assistance.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Ensure all maintenance is performed in a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible manner.
- Assist in performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of the building and grounds.
- Help work with the staff to maintain electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems under the direction of the Buildings and Grounds Manager.
- Assist in monitoring facility conditions and identifying issues before they become major problems.
- Work with vendors, and contractors as directed.
- Help ensure tools, supplies, and maintenance equipment are kept organized and in good working order.
- Respond to minor emergency repairs or maintenance requests in a timely manner.
Rate: $7,500 annual
