Hotel: Legacy Te Waonui Hotel Franz Josef.

Location: 13 Wallace Street, Franz Josef Galcier.

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent position

Rate per hour: $33.00 - $35.00

Hours of Work: Guaranteed 40 hours per week, on a rotating roster, including weekends.

The Head Housekeeper role is a key position in the day-to-day running of the property, and is ideal for the hospitality professional who is looking to take the next step in their career at our beautiful 5 star property - Legacy Te Waonui Hotel Franz Josef.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Oversight of the department including determining work requirements and allocation of duties.
• Preparation and maintenance of Housekeeping department rosters and attendance records.
• Oversight of day-to-day activity of Housekeeping staff, and ensuring that training is coordinated, structured, and aligned with service standards.
• Planning, budgeting, and ordering for the department.
• Taking a proactive approach to driving service improvements to maximise departmental success.

Preferred Skills & Experience.

• 2 years relevant housekeeping experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
