Title: Head Groundsman
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or facility maintenance
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools, machinery, and safety practices
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions especially during snow events
- Familiar with snow equipment (i.e. plows, bobcats, snow blowers, salters, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with sports field maintenance
Reports To: Buildings and Grounds Manager/Assistant Business Administrator for Facilities
Job Goal: Assist B&G Manager to set schedule and maintain daily, weekly and seasonal schedules.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance of lawns, sports fields, gardens, walkways, and other outdoor areas.
- Ensure fields and grounds are properly prepared for events or games. Maintain equipment and coordinate necessary repairs.
- Ensure all groundskeeping is performed in a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible manner.
- Monitor and maintain irrigation systems.
Rate: $5,000 annual
