Head Custodian
Pay Range: $47,265-$52,807 depending on experience
Hours: This is a full-time position
What you'll do:
The Head Custodian is responsible for maintaining a professional looking building. The Head Custodian performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled custodial duties ranging from operating equipment to unskilled laboring tasks such as but not limited to: setup and take down for events, operating a forklift and floor equipment, and other maintenance duties as assigned. The Head Custodian assists the Facilities Director with supervising and scheduling custodial staff.
What we're looking for:
High School Diploma, or equivalent
Three years of previous experience which must include working with varied maintenance operations/procedures, trade practices, custodial service techniques, equipment operation, and supervisory functions
Must successfully pass a criminal background check, possess a valid driver's license issued by the State of Utah, and have an acceptable driving record
Sense of pride and ownership in work is essential
Requires frequent physical exertion including lifting up to 75 lbs., bending, reaching, kneeling, and walking
Knowledge of cleaning supplies, chemicals, cleaning, and safety best practices
Operating a variety of tools and equipment
Ability to work with little supervision; be organized and able to track a variety of assignments simultaneously
Requires ability to work a flexible work schedule as needed
Requires demonstrated ability to work with individuals of all racial, ethnic, and social-economic backgrounds
Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbal and written
