Head Custodian

LOCATION:

Stony Brook and Eddy Elementary Schools

DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT

OF POSITION:

Directs and supervises custodial and maintenance services at Stony Brook Elementary School and Eddy Elementary School. This position includes responsibility for the safe and efficient condition and operation of all buildings, grounds, and systems for the Brewster Elementary School physical plants and grounds.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred. The successful candidate will have knowledge of all aspects of facility maintenance, including lighting, water, heating, ventilation, alarms, clocks and generators. Must be able to work independently, be a self-starter, organized, supervise custodial staff, oversee contractors, interact with the public regarding facility use, and assist in budget development and management.

SALARY:

$70,000.00 - $80,000.00
