JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Plan and oversee all maintenance and repair work, maintaining a high standard of safety utilizing the current district maintenance program.
- Help in the selection, assignment, scheduling and training of general custodians.
- Evaluate the performance of custodial staff on a regular basis.
- Maintain an inventory and recommend purchase of supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to perform services in the following areas: Operation of boilers and related mechanical equipment; cleaning operations; general maintenance of buildings.
- General computer knowledge.
- Knowledge of energy management systems.
- Ability to organize work schedules, train and supervise personnel.
- Ability to handle emergency procedures including disconnection of utilities.
- Basic knowledge in plumbing, electrical and mechanical trouble-shooting and repair.
- Must have a boiler license.
- Good work and attendance record.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the Director of Building and Grounds.
SALARY/SCHEDULE
- Monday - Friday
- 8 Hours Per Day
- Salary Per Agreement
- First Shift (6 am - 2:30 pm)
