Position: Head Coach: Women's Rugby
Reports to: Athletic Director and Director of Club Sports
Supervises: Students, Assistant Coaches (if applicable)
Primary Function: The Women's Rugby Head Coach/Director of Rugby is responsible for coaching the Women's Rugby Team and overseeing all aspects of the Men's and Women's Rugby club programs at Saint Vincent College. This role focuses on developing students, promoting a positive team culture, and ensuring the overall growth and success of both the Women's and Men's rugby programs. The position requires leadership in coaching, recruitment, program management, and community engagement, aligning the rugby programs with the college's mission and values.
Required Qualifications: Experience in rugby coaching and program management. Strong leadership skills with a dedication to fostering academic and athletic success among students. Proven ability to manage program budgets, fundraising efforts, and operational logistics. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Education: Bachelor's degree required, with an advanced degree preferred.
Experience: Experience in rugby, either as a player, coach, or administrator. Experience in recruiting and developing prospective students. Experience in managing and growing club sports programs.
