We are seeking an experienced HCP (Healthcare Professional) Compliance and Business Process Consultant to support a pharmaceutical organization's planned implementation of the MediSpend HCP Engagement / Stakeholder Engagement Module.

The consultant will serve as a subject matter expert in global HCP compliance processes, helping assess existing workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and define future-state business processes and system requirements ahead of implementation.

This is primarily a business process and compliance advisory role, not a technical implementation position. The organization has a separate implementation resource and is seeking an independent consultant who can help define how HCP engagement processes should operate before the system is configured.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as an SME in pharmaceutical HCP engagement compliance, policies, and business processes.

    • Assess current HCP engagement workflows and identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

    • Define and document future-state processes that support global HCP compliance requirements.

    • Gather, analyze, and document business and user requirements for the MediSpend HCP Engagement Module.

    • Develop Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), User Requirements Specifications (URS), and detailed process flows.

    • Work with Compliance and other relevant business stakeholders to align processes with regulatory and operational requirements.

    • Translate compliance and business needs into clear functional requirements for the implementation team.

    • Provide guidance on process standardization, governance, and compliance controls across global operations.

    Required Qualifications

    • Strong experience in pharmaceutical/life sciences compliance, specifically HCP engagement processes.

    • Deep understanding of HCP compliance requirements, engagement workflows, and associated business controls.

    • Experience assessing, designing, and improving business processes within a pharmaceutical organization.

    • Experience developing BRDs, URS documentation, and current-state/future-state process flows.

    • Ability to translate complex compliance requirements into practical business processes and system requirements.

    • Experience working with cross-functional business and compliance stakeholders.

    • Strong consulting, requirements-gathering, process-mapping, and documentation skills.

    • Ability to operate independently as a business process and compliance SME.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with MediSpend HCP Engagement / Stakeholder Engagement or comparable HCP engagement management platforms.

    • Experience supporting global HCP engagement process transformation or compliance system implementations.

    • Familiarity with HCP engagement activities such as speaker programs, advisory boards, consulting agreements, Fair Market Value (FMV), and associated payment processes.

    • Experience supporting pharmaceutical compliance technology initiatives from business process assessment through requirements definition.

    Key Deliverables

    • Business Requirements Document (BRD)

    • User Requirements Specifications (URS)

    • Current-state and future-state process flows
