Job Description
The HCM Analyst works closely with HR management and company leadership to understand and configure HR business processes that support the strategic implementation of the Company's human capital strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead system knowledge transfer and on-the-job training to coordinators and other HCM team members.
- Review and test Workday and other product releases and roadmaps to identify opportunities to leverage new features and functionality to improve and support business objectives.
- Provide expert knowledge to functional HCM teams including Core HR, Compensation, Compliance, and HR systems security.
- Participate actively in Workday Community Q&A Forums (or that of other vendors), submit necessary brainstorms, and promote brainstorms that benefit the organization.
- Participate in governance processes, road mapping exercises, and cross functional resource planning.
- Plan communications, facilitate demos, and create training as needed to effectively bring change-impacted groups through the change with minimal business impact.
- Provide assistance to end users, as needed.
- Configure, test, validate, and implement business processes, upgrades, and enhancements to ensure that overall system performance is aligned with business objectives across all workstreams.
- Lead Workday organizational maintenance efforts.
- Create, review, and participate in functional and regression testing for all system fixes, upgrades, and other systems maintenance including bi-annual Workday releases and new system features.
- Design and support Workday organizational maintenance.
- Create and perform audits of various data to ensure data integrity and efficient processing of HCM data and develop business rules to validate data to maintain ongoing data integrity.
- Work with multiple work streams, integration teams, and business organizations to ensure cohesive and cross-functional impacts are considered and mitigated.
- Understand latest business objectives and translate them to system requirements for systems supported by HCM team members.
- Maintain awareness of current trends in Workday and best practices.
- Analyze software releases to assess impact of new features and research, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolves issues as necessary.
- Understand proper use, storage, and transmission of sensitive employee data and actively participate in system data quality compliance activities.
- Develop and implement performance improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Configure medium to high risk functionality.
- Estimate project size, identify end-user needs, define objectives, and continually monitor progress for various HCM projects and requests.
- Facilitate research for features risk.
- Clarify timelines within the current Program Increment (PI) planning.
- Document requirements, user stories, and tasks.
- Communicate and plan completion of cross-functional work.
- Plan for and test each release cycle, including regression testing.
- Other duties and projects, as assigned.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree Preferably in product management, marketing, human resources or related field., preferred
- Strong experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Experience:
- Experience in Workday configuration and core application framework experience (HCM Core, Business Processes, Security, and Reporting) with a strong emphasis on HCM, preferred
- Prior HRIS and Admin experience with a focus in HCM, preferred
Computer Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, preferred
Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge of various Workday Modules (e.g., Performance, Absence, Talent and/or Recruiting) and excellent understanding of HR Processes, preferred

Work Hours:
