Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30AM-4:00PM

Location: Tyler's Place AZ HQ

Salary: $17.00/HR

Position Summary

Tyler's Place, a provider of Developmental Disabilities Division (DDD) services, is seeking a reliable and organized HCBS (Home & Community Based Services) Assistant to support our HCBS Director and administrative team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of responsibilities, works well in a team environment, and is committed to providing excellent support to the families and members we serve, staff and team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the HCBS Director.
  • Assist with general office operations and daily administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate and schedule Attendant Care meetings and maintain related documentation.
  • Answer phones, emails, and other communications professionally and promptly.
  • Organize, maintain, and update files, records, and reports.
  • Assist with data entry.
  • Support communication between staff, members, families, and community partners.
  • Attend meetings as needed and prepare meeting materials.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Demonstrates a strong desire to learn, grow professionally, and take on new responsibilities as training and experience expand within the role.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous administrative or office experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic office technology.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Adhere to HIPPA laws.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn new responsibilities as the role evolves.
  • Must possess a genuine passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and their families, along with a commitment to providing compassionate, person-centered service and advocacy.

Required Qualifications (training provided in-house):

  • The ability to obtain a State of AZ Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card and pass a nationwide background check.
  • Must possess a valid AZ driver's license.
  • Keep up to date with on-going Professional Development Trainings such as:
    • Article 9, First Aid/CPR, CEUs and DCW.
