Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
- Prepare meals and assist with proper nutrition and hydration.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Assist with shopping, errands, and transportation when appropriate.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Observe and report changes in clients' conditions to the care team.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
Requirements
- Current Washington State HCA or CNA license, or currently enrolled in an approved HCA or CNA training program
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to communicate in English and Hmong (Hmoob)
- Two positive work references
- Successfully pass a Washington State background check and drug screening
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional client care
