About the Job

Ruan is hiring Class A CDL drivers to be based in Remington, IN, to haul auto parts in dry van trailers for our dedicated customer. For more information, please call our Recruiting Hotline at (800) 879-7826.

Pay

Get paid weekly earning activity-based pay at $.658 cents per mile and $30 per stop. Drivers are averaging $85,000 per year.

Schedule

Enjoy a home weekly overnight schedule working 4-5 days a week with consecutive days off. There are multiple schedule options available, including Monday to Thursday or Monday to Friday schedules. Drivers will deliver a mix of multi-stop and occasional shuttle deliveries. Drivers are working about 45 hours per week. Routes can go through Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Missouri.

Equipment

Drivers are operating new automatic late-model Freightliner sleepers. This position requires driver unload at each stop using a lift gate and electric pallet jack. Hazmat endorsement is required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 22 years or older
  • No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
  • No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
  • With the Department of Transportations Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired
  • 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records
