| Job Description: | Collects, processes and prepares University of Florida Radioactive and Chemical Waste for shipment and disposal Performs tasks related to insuring facility and institutional compliance with permits, licenses and Federal, State and Local regulations Collects and analyses samples for chemical and radioactive materials Maintains records in accordance with federal, state and local regulations Performs inspections as assigned Performs routine cleaning and maintenance of facilities and equipment Responds to chemical spills Work hours: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. A criminal background and post-offer health assessment will be conducted Drives a state vehicle that requires a Valid Driver License. |
| Expected Salary: | $23.00-$24.00/ hour based on education and experience |
| Minimum Requirements: | A bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and one (1) year of appropriate experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. |
