Title: Harvest - Scale Clerk (US)
Pay Rate: $19/hr. - $20/hr. on W2
Location: Grand Legde MI 48837
Duration: 3 4 month contract with the possibility of extension
Schedule:7:00 AM 3:30 PM (8 hours), changing to 7:00 AM 7:00 PM (12 hours) during harvest.
Job Summary:
The position with be 8 hours a day up until the first or second week of July where it will switch to 12 hours per day. Once wheat harvest is complete, we will go back to 8 hours a day until fall harvest arrives.
Summary:
Scale Clerk is a clerical position involved in the daily tasks of the office (weighing trucks, grading grain, operating a PLC program, data entry, answer phone and filing). This position will provide excellent customer service displaying a positive and professional attitude. Job Responsibilities: Weigh trucks Data entry, Answer phone, File and retain documents Maintain clean and neat workspace. Job Requirements: Commitment to ***s goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures High school education or equivalent Exhibit regular and prompt attendance Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, prolonged periods of using a telephone, bending, kneeling, lift storage boxes Willing to work overtime and weekends Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in a team setting Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude Computer skills are a must; previous experience with data entry using Microsoft Word & Excel is preferred. Previous experience with office equipment such as copier, fax machine, etc.
