Job Title: Harvest Processing Technician
Location: 923 Co Rd 238 #20 Milford, NE 68405
Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a half-hour lunch, Monday through Friday; some weekend and overtime during peak harvest season.
There is NO laboratory component to this role.
Responsibilities:
Harvest Processing
- We have openings for energetic and committed team members to support operations activities to support the Nebraska soybean breeding program.
- These are temporary, entry level positions for day shift only. Most activities are done with a team of technicians under the supervision of CLIENT full-time employees.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Harvest preparation.
- Data collection using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Hand harvest of soybean.
- Machine and single head threshing.
- Seed processing.
- Seed inventory data collection and entry in Microsoft Word.
- These positions will work both outdoors and indoors in variable conditions, with potential exposure to sun, heat, dust, and insects.
