Job Title: Harvest Processing Technician

Location: 1253 280th Rd, Seward, NE 68434

Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a half-hour lunch, Monday through Friday; some weekend and overtime during peak harvest season.

There is NO laboratory component to this role. The hiring manager is flexible with start a start date of Sept 14th and end date of Dec 4th, but the bulk of the work will be in October and November.

Responsibilities:

Harvest Processing

• We have openings for energetic and committed team members to support operations activities to support the Nebraska soybean breeding program.
• These are temporary, entry level positions for day shift only. Most activities are done with a team of technicians under the supervision of CLIENT full-time employees.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Harvest preparation.
• Data collection using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Hand harvest of soybean.
• Machine and single head threshing.
• Seed processing.
• Seed inventory data collection and entry in Microsoft Word.
• These positions will work both outdoors and indoors in variable conditions, with potential exposure to sun, heat, dust, and insects.
