Pay: $41 45/hr W2

Job summary
We are looking for an Automotive Hardware Test Engineer to test and validate automotive electronic hardware prototypes, including PMICs, smart fuses, load switches, and microcontrollers. The role involves power protection testing, fault analysis, power sequencing validation, and laboratory troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and electronic loads. Candidates should have strong automotive hardware testing experience and knowledge of flashing and debugging tools such as Lauterbach. Responsibilities:

• Test hardware prototypes involving PMICs, smart fuses, load switches, voltage/current/temperature sensing, microcontrollers, memory, and automotive Ethernet.
• Verify overcurrent, undervoltage, and overvoltage protection.
• Evaluate current limiting, inrush, short-circuit protection, thermal limits, and fault responses.
• Validate power sequencing, timing, and load profiles.
• Perform laboratory measurements using power supplies, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and electronic loads.
• Flash and debug hardware using tools such as Lauterbach.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong automotive hardware testing and laboratory troubleshooting experience.
• Experience using flashing and debugging tools.
• Vector or Intrepid automotive Ethernet tools experience preferred.
