    Description

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or a related engineering environment, ideally capital equipment manufacturing.
    • Hands-on capability to assemble, integrate, test, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and optical systems.
    • Ability to read and work from electrical schematics, cable drawings, and mechanical drawings to build cable harnesses and electrical enclosures.
    • Strong troubleshooting of circuits, sensors, and controls, including power, resistance, current, pressure transducers, oxygen sensors, and VFDs.
    • Experience assembling and troubleshooting linear stages, guide systems, pumps, cooling systems, and linear motion and control systems.
    • Ability to safely perform physical work including lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing ladders, and occasionally working in confined spaces; ability to use forklift/gantry equipment for heavy lifts where applicable.
    • Proficiency with Windows OS, installing software/drivers, navigating file systems, and troubleshooting local networks using IP and ModBus protocols.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assemble and integrate mechanical, electrical, optical, and pneumatic subsystems and complete system-level builds.
    • Execute system testing, troubleshooting, repair, and process qualification for prototypes, pilot builds, and production releases.
    • Troubleshoot and repair subsystems built by third-party suppliers and validate performance to requirements.
    • Support new product introduction from prototype through pilot builds and production release, providing technical feedback to engineering and manufacturing.
    • Create, review, redline, and update assembly, test, calibration, and related documentation; participate in continuous improvement and cross-functional initiatives.
