As a Hardware Engineering Program Manager (HW EPM) you will be responsible for the technical management of the development and implementation process for the Electrical Design and components of one of our Audio Product Design teams.

In this role you will drive the day-to-day activities to meet key program objectives focusing on engineering, development planning and validation cycles. This involves engaging with cross functional teams to balance competing objectives, make a difference and embrace effective ways to deliver on the committed timelines. Manage the planning and execution of product prototype builds, leading a cross-functional team of electrical, software, and mechanical engineers.

Set and communicate clear objectives for the build schedule, serving as the primary point of contact for the program with Contract Manufacturer (CM) partners.

Lead multi-functional engineering team meetings to discuss design scope, set timelines, and ensure timely completion. You'll understand the complexities of system integration and collaborate with teams to facilitate feedback through the internal design review process.

Maintain good communication and provide multiple levels of status to individual contributors and executive management. Support product definition and drive closure of architecture and technical opens in early stages of a project. Establish and manage program feature baseline, scheduling, budget, critical paths, and technology risk areas for execution through final delivery of the product. Identify and highlight technical risk areas and mitigation strategies in partnership with impacted teams to help drive them to closure. Enable the development effort by creating and monitoring an efficient, streamlined process. Drive MLB/Flex/SiP releases and fabrication kickoff with Hardware Engineering and the vendors to meet build schedules. Plan and execute prototype builds by directing OEM partners. Lead cross functional communication between project teams and external vendors with detailed plans. Drive day-to-day activities to meet overall project objectives including scheduling and leading meetings among engineering stakeholders. Offer multiple levels of status across a wide spectrum of individual contributors to executive management via detailed written and excellent verbal communication. BS ME/EE degree or equivalent experience. At least 5 years of experience leading program management or electrical engineering design of product development. Excellent communication, collaboration, organizational, presentation and leadership skills Self motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities Deep understanding of rapid development cycles; remains flexible when faced with uncertainty and changes in direction Knowledge of product development processes as well as an understanding of manufacturing processes, electrical engineering fundamentals; prior experience with flex/MLB/module/SMT manufacturing and process is highly desirable Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage complex, ground breaking design strategies Participated in delivering products comprised of multiple materials and high esthetic quality Experience interfacing with cross functional teams including Mechanical Engineering and Design, Manufacturing, Systems Engineering, Reliability, Operations, and Marketing Embraces ambiguous situations and drives closure Ability to travel internationally to support builds
