Hardware Engineer (II)

Title: RF Test Engineer / RF Measurement Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform RF characterization and validation of RF subsystems and components.
• Execute linear and non-linear RF measurements using Vector Network Analyzers (VNA/Client), Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, and Power Meters.
• Perform S-parameter measurements, calibration, and de-embedding techniques.
• Characterize mixers, frequency converters, upconverters, downconverters, and RF front-end modules.
• Conduct frequency offset measurements and analyze RF system performance.
• Develop Python-based automated test solutions for RF measurements and data collection.
• Interface with hardware, firmware, and systems engineering teams to investigate and resolve RF performance issues.
• Create and maintain automated test frameworks using SCPI, PyVISA, or similar instrumentation control methodologies.
• Use Git or equivalent version control systems for software and test automation development.

Required Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Microwave Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong experience with RF measurements and characterization.
• Hands-on experience using Vector Network Analyzers (VNA/Client).
• Strong understanding of S-parameters (S11, S21, S12, S22).
• Experience with calibration and de-embedding techniques (SOLT, TRL, etc.).
• Experience working with mixers, frequency converters, upconverters, and downconverters.
• Experience performing frequency offset measurements.
• Strong Python programming skills for test automation.
• Experience using Git or other version control systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz, Anritsu, or NI RF test equipment.
• Experience with microwave, RF, wireless, satellite, aerospace, defense, or semiconductor products.
• Familiarity with RF system architecture and signal chain analysis.
