Do you love taking on big challenges that require exceptionally creative solutions? Do you deeply understand all the unique challenges of working on prototype test solutions for bleeding edge camera image sensors?
As a key member of the Camera Semiconductor Technology team, you will be responsible for image sensor characterization H/W development and prototyping. In this role, you will be at the center of the image sensor development effort, and you will work with cross functional teams in many aspects of your daily activities.
Determine component requirements, and develop circuit designs for sensor and module evaluation
Develop and/or direct PCB layout designs
Debug EE issues, including power quality, high-speed signal integrity, and I2C interface
Create and execute plans to bring-up, debug, and validate designs to achieve functional and performance goals
Build prototype and automation tools for camera sensor development
Documenting and presenting your results to both internal and external engineering teams
Cross functional collaboration to develop next generation imaging products and features
Working with internal and external teams to ensure that timelines and prototype boards are designed and fabricated on time.
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering or a similar discipline with relevant education background and/or industry experience in PCB design
Hands-on experience with electrical prototyping skills, including soldering of surface mount components
Experience in software tools for schematic capture (e.g., Cadence System Capture) and PCN layout tools (e.g., Cadence, Allegro)
MS in a related field
3+ years of experience with PCB design, including high speed signal routing, mixed-signal analog/digital design, and component selection
Experience with 3D mechanical CAD
Familiarity with electronic test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, signal source, and power supplies
Strong written and verbal communication skills, teamwork and leadership skills
