Description
Overview: We are seeking a Hardware Asset Manager to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) at Schriever AFB in Colorado Springs, CO.
- Must be a Colorado Springs resident.
- Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
- Must have at least 2 years of asset management experience.
- Familiarity with IT hardware is required.
Responsibilities:
- Support MDA customers as part of the Asset Management Functional Team.
- Track and manage the physical location of deployed and stored assets.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with procurement and track orders through established systems.
- Communicate with vendors and resellers to confirm details and support acquisitions.
- Receive and log assets into storage or facilities.
- Perform monthly inventory audits.
- Manage asset lifecycle including sanitization, excessing, or destruction of hardware.
- Restock equipment storage areas and issue equipment to staff.
- Ensure compliance with asset management policies and procedures.
- Coordinate access and support for multiple locations.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in asset management.
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance (or higher).
- Familiarity with IT hardware.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of all IT equipment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
