Handyman / Facility Maintenance Technician

Location: Bloomington, CA

Pay Rate: $21.00 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Handyman / Facility Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs throughout a warehouse facility in Bloomington. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with basic plumbing, light fixtures, painting, and general facility repairs.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform general facility maintenance and repairs throughout the building.

• Repair and troubleshoot toilets, faucets, sinks, and basic plumbing issues.

• Replace and repair light fixtures, light bulbs, switches, and other basic electrical fixtures.

• Perform painting, touch-ups, and minor wall repairs.

• Repair doors, handles, locks, hinges, and other facility fixtures.

• Address minor leaks, clogged fixtures, and other light plumbing needs.

• Identify maintenance issues and determine appropriate repairs.

• Safely operate common hand and power tools.

• Respond to maintenance requests throughout the facility.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Follow all facility safety, security, and PPE requirements.

• Report repairs that require a licensed contractor or specialized service.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent handyman, facility maintenance, building maintenance, or general repair experience required.

• Must have hands-on experience with basic plumbing, painting, light fixtures, and general facility repairs.

• Must be comfortable using hand and power tools.

• Ability to troubleshoot and complete minor repairs independently.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and perform physical maintenance duties throughout the shift.

• Must be dependable and have reliable attendance.

• Must follow all facility safety and security requirements.
