Looking for a steady day-shift welding position with the opportunity for long-term employment? We re hiring a Hand MIG Welder for a manufacturing facility in Hastings.
This position involves manual MIG welding, so we're looking for someone who understands what a quality weld should look like and can consistently produce solid, dependable work.
What You'll Do
Perform manual MIG welding on manufactured parts and components
Set up and use welding equipment safely and correctly
Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards
Identify weld defects and make corrections as needed
Follow production specifications and work instructions
Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area
Assist with other production duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
MIG welding experience preferred
Knowledge of proper welding techniques and ability to recognize a quality weld
Good attention to detail and workmanship
Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
Excellent attendance and reliability are a must
Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
