Job Title: Halfway House Attendant
Reports To: Front of House Manager
Position Summary:
The Halfway House Attendant is responsible for providing excellent service to members and guests at the course s halfway house. This role includes preparing and serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness and stock levels, handling transactions, and ensuring that members enjoy a welcoming and efficient experience during their round of golf.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet members and guests promptly and courteously.
- Prepare and serve snacks, beverages, and light meals according to club standards.
- Operate point-of-sale system; accurately handle cash, credit card, and member account charges.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels; restock products as needed.
- Keep the halfway house, restrooms, patio, and service areas clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Follow all state and club alcohol service regulations.
- Communicate supply needs, equipment issues, or member concerns to management.
- Responsible for setup and breakdown of the halfway house at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Deliver attentive and professional service consistent with the high standards of the club.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food & beverage, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, required.
- Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcoholic beverages.
Work Environment:
- Primarily outdoors or semi-outdoor setting at the halfway house facility.
- Requires standing, walking, and light physical activity throughout the shift.
