Gynecologic Surgeon (GYN Only – No Obstetrics)

Position Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $310,000 – $400,000 Base Salary + wRVU Incentive Plan

Position Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Gynecologist to join a growing Women's Health team. This position is focused exclusively on gynecologic care with no obstetrics responsibilities, offering an excellent opportunity for a physician who enjoys both clinical practice and leadership.

In addition to providing comprehensive gynecologic care, the physician will oversee and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), helping to maintain high clinical standards, improve patient outcomes, and support a team-based approach to women's healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care

  • Provide comprehensive gynecologic services, including preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic care.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of gynecologic conditions.
  • Perform office-based procedures and gynecologic surgeries, including:
    • Hysterectomies
    • Laparoscopic procedures
    • Colposcopies
    • Other minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans and clinical protocols.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).

APP Leadership & Oversight

  • Provide clinical oversight, mentorship, and support to Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
  • Assist with APP orientation, training, and ongoing professional development.
  • Foster collaboration and coordinated care within the Women's Health team.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for complex patient cases and care management decisions.

Quality & Performance Improvement

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Promote best practices and contribute to departmental growth and operational excellence.

Patient-Centered Care

  • Deliver compassionate, high-quality care that prioritizes patient education and shared decision-making.
  • Advocate for patient safety, satisfaction, and positive healthcare outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with patients and multidisciplinary care teams.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
  • Active and unrestricted medical license (or ability to obtain licensure in the state).
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of gynecologic practice experience preferred.
  • Prior experience supervising, mentoring, or collaborating with APPs is strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to evidence-based medicine and quality patient care.

Physical Requirements
