Description
Primary Duties:
Must follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Maintain a constant flow of product for the area line
Assist with the development of new packing specifications
Ensure product quality meets specifications; perform quality inspections as required
Pack the windows onto racks using proper glass handling techniques
If handling raw glass; place hands on top & side, while wearing cut safe gloves, capes & aprons
Use extra safety precautions when placing into cullet bins or testing for quality measures
Ensure the Packing Specifications are being followed for each part being packed
Support Specialists during all changeovers
Assist in trouble shooting operation failures
Separate into areas for continued
Assist with process and product audits according to the work instructions
Perform 5S and housekeeping duties to maintain high standard of facility cleanliness
Communicate concerns, improvements and general information to others on the line
