Job Summary

We are seeking a Principal Product Architect with 15 to 18 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Guidewire Tools and accelerators Guidewire PolicyCenter and GW APD with a strong background in Property and Casualty Insurance. This hybrid role requires a strategic thinker who can drive product architecture and design ensuring alignment with business goals and industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and architecture of innovative solutions using Guidewire Tools and accelerators to enhance product offerings in the Property and Casualty Insurance domain.
  • Oversee the integration of Guidewire PolicyCenter and GW APD into existing systems to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams ensuring best practices and high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product architecture with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to maintain a competitive edge in the insurance industry.
  • Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into scalable and robust architectural solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations minimizing risks and enhancing system security.
  • Develop and maintain architectural documentation to support ongoing development and future enhancements.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies that align with the companys strategic goals.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of architectural decisions and their impact.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Optimize system performance and scalability to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Implement best practices for software development and deployment ensuring high availability and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Possess extensive experience with Guidewire Tools and accelerators demonstrating a deep understanding of their application in insurance solutions.
  • Have a proven track record of working with Guidewire PolicyCenter and GW APD showcasing the ability to integrate and optimize these platforms.
  • Demonstrate strong expertise in the Property and Casualty Insurance domain with a focus on delivering value-driven solutions.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical challenges.
  • Show proficiency in architectural design and documentation ensuring clarity and consistency across projects.
  • Display strong communication and collaboration skills facilitating effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies and industry developments.

Certifications Required

Guidewire Certified Specialist Certified Insurance Data Architect

The annual salary for this position is between $140,000 - $150,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
