Job Title: Guidewire Lead
Location: San Antonio, TXDuration: 6 months + possible extension
Rate Range: $50 - $53/hour on W2/ C2C (All inclusive)We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Policy Center Lead Developer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in Guidewire implementation, configuration, integration, and support. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, design scalable insurance solutions, mentor development teams, and collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver high-quality Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Guidewire PolicyCenter development, enhancements, and production support activities.
- Analyze business requirements and prepare technical design solutions.
- Configure and customize Guidewire PolicyCenter using Gosu, PCF, Rules, Workflows, Product Model, and Data Model Extensions.
- Develop integrations with internal and external applications using REST/SOAP APIs, messaging, and batch processes.
- Perform code reviews and ensure Guidewire development best practices.
- Support release management, deployments, and production issue resolution.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and recommend optimal solutions.

Guidewire
- 8+ years of Guidewire development experience.
- Strong expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter.

- Cloud platform exposure is a plus
Leadership Skills
- Technical leadership and mentoring experience
- Design reviews and code reviews
- Experience coordinating onsite/offshore teams
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Guidewire PolicyCenter Certified Professional/Developer
- Experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite upgrades
- Guidewire Cloud implementation experience
- Experience in Personal Lines or Commercial Lines Insurance
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience
