Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Clearance: Active Top Secret Security Clearance required to start.

Qualifying Questions:
Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance?
Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?
Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?
Summary:
Resolve requirement conflicts.
Perform and document analysis and design of Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) systems.
Perform model validation against test data to improve simulation accuracy.
Use advanced analysis to assess and refine control law design.
Gather, define, and document GNC mission requirements and ensure traceability from system level to component level.
Develop solutions and disposition issues for customer satisfaction.
Design trade studies to meet program requirements.
Work across multiple disciplines such as systems engineering, software, and hardware.
Implement COTS solutions when appropriate.
Author and maintain engineering documentation.
Requirements:
Active Top Secret Security Clearance required to start.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Ability to obtain SCI or T5 after starting.
Guidance, Navigation, and Control engineering experience.
Classical Control Theory experience.
Experience with a higher-level programming code (e.g., C, MATLAB, Python, or similar).
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent directly related to the work statement.
Preferred: Active TS/SCI.
Preferred: Advanced degree in a related field or coursework in Advanced Control Systems.
Preferred: Hardware implementation experience.
