Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
Key Responsibilities
This individual will work within a Guidance Systems team performing analysis, design, implementation, and test activities as part of a system development effort. Additional tasks include support of on-going Internal Research & Development (IRAD) activities in the area of inertial guidance. These tasks are related to activities in our Advanced Guidance Lab (AGL) and Guidance Development Lab (GDL) and include guidance concepts/technologies, test equipment development tools and lab infrastructure.The selected candidate should also have good oral and written communications skills, and perform work assignments under minimal supervision, and support frequent communications within and across Integrated Product Teams.
Additional Responsibilities
The preferred candidate should have the following basic qualifications:
Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience
AI experience
Familiarity with:
Circuit design and analysis
FPGA design
Closed loop control
Simulation and modelling experience
Experience with embedded programming (C, C++, Python, JavaScript) and microcontrollers
Basic knowledge of inertial sensors
Familiarity with Estimation theory, filtering, and data reduction
Agile Method experience
Familiarity with LabView

Combined Salary Range
USD $118,519.00 - USD $131,482.00 /Yr.
