    Overview:

    Join the Guest Services team at The Highlands at Harbor Springs and help create an exceptional guest experience! As a Guest Shuttle Driver, you’ll safely and efficiently transport guests throughout the resort and to scheduled off-property destinations while providing friendly, personalized service. You’ll interact with guests, answer questions about the resort and surrounding area, assist with luggage, and help ensure guests have a smooth and enjoyable stay. This position also supports other Guest Services responsibilities throughout the resort.

    Responsibilities:

    The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this classification and are not all-inclusive of the specific position.

    • Transport guests around the resort as needed as well as off-property prescheduled pick-ups.
    • Responsible for accurate and complete vehicle safety operation checklist
    • Ensure safe operation of the vehicle, as well as the safe transport of passengers and equipment with a strong emphasis on guest service
    • Maintain a clean vehicle at all times
    • Meet service level objectives and department goals as set forth by the immediate supervisor
    • Assist the front desk and other guest service areas as needed.
    • Respond to all guest requests for on-property shuttle service promptly and courteously, assist guests with luggage while boarding and offloading the vehicle.
    • Shuttle golf groups to our other resorts.
    • Responsible for overseeing hotel lobbies in regards to their cleanliness, literature stations, water stations, and luggage carts.
    • May regularly hold doors, inspect and clear hotel entrance and surrounding areas of litter and debris.
    • Assist guests by completing room deliveries, carrying luggage, and moving guests around the resort via limo cart.
    • Explain and promote hotel facilities, outlets, and services to guests, and provide information to guests regarding local attractions and activities.
    Qualifications:
    • Must be at least 18 years old.

    • High school diploma or GED preferred.

    • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

    • Must have a Chauffeur’s License or be willing to obtain one after hire.

    • No prior experience required; training provided.

    • Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

    • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

    • Strong attention to detail and a guest-focused attitude.

    • Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

    • Comfortable with physical tasks and standing or moving throughout a shift.
