We are looking for an outgoing, high-energy Guest Services Lead to bring our hospitality standards to life! In this front-line leadership role, you set the tone for the entire customer experience. You will welcome guests, lead by example at the registers, share our product story, and support daily front-of-house operations to keep everything running smoothly. What You Will DoDeliver Warm Hospitality: Greet every guest, anticipate needs, and handle customer questions or feedback with patience, care, and professionalism. Lead by Example at Checkout: Operate POS registers smoothly, process orders and payments quickly, and keep transaction lines moving with accuracy and warmth. Share the Haymarket Story: Confidently guide guests through our menu, farm offerings, ingredients, and seasonal specials, recommending items they will love. Maintain Front-of-House Standards: Keep register stations, café seating, and guest areas clean, organized, fully stocked, and presentation-ready. Support Daily Shift Flow: Coordinate front-end workflows, assist teammates during peak rushes, support opening and closing routines, and keep operations aligned with SOPs and food safety rules.

Clear Communication: Great verbal skills to connect with guests, de-escalate concerns, and coordinate with store leaders. Tech & Register Skills: Comfortable operating POS systems, handling cash responsibly, and troubleshooting basic register steps.
Experience & Education RequirementsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in retail, café, restaurant, guest service, or hospitality roles. Leadership Experience: Previous team lead, supervisory, or keyholder experience is strongly preferred.
Physical & Workplace RequirementsThis is an active, front-of-house customer service role. To succeed, you must be able to: Stand and walk for extended periods up to the duration of a shift. Frequently bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and perform repetitive register and merchandising motions. Regularly lift, carry, and move boxes or supplies weighing up to 50 pounds. Navigate sales floors, café counters, storage, and back-of-house areas with ease. Work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business volume.
