What You'll Do: As part of the Guest Services team, the Guest Services Attendant plays a pivotal role as the first point of contact for guests at Casa Bonita, ensuring a seamless flow from the guest's arrival to being seated for service. Responsibilities:
- Follow established steps of service to ensure a welcoming and efficient guest experience
- Able to work independently while maintaining clear communication and collaborating effectively with team members
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn, adapt to feedback, and comply with all company policies and safety regulations
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assign them to their designated tables and update table status
- Provide menus and escort guests to their designated tables while answering any questions about the restaurant features and entertainment offerings
- Communicate with Guest Services Captain or Front of House Manager regarding guest needs or concerns
- Ensure the entrance areas remain clean and accessible throughout service
- Wipe down menus and sanitize the host stand regularly
- Receive and return lost and found items to guests as needed
- Assist with all opening and closing duties and side work
- Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by any manager or VP of Operations based on business needs
Qualifications:
- 18+ years of age
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Passionate about serving others
- Strong conflict resolution skills to provide exceptional service and maintain a positive guest experience
- Able to communicate effectively in English
- Must have reliable form of transportation and be able to work flexible shifts, inclusive of weekends, days, late nights, and holidays
- Regular and dependable attendance is an essential function of this position
- This position requires consistent availability for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening shifts, as well as Sunday morning shifts, on an ongoing basis. Candidates must be able to reliably work these required shifts as part of the regular schedule expectations for the role. Availability for these shifts is a condition of employment for this position. This availability is also an essential function of the role.
Preferred:
• Bilingual in Spanish
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in hosting or guest services
Physical & Environmental Demands:
- Able to distinguish colors and see both up close and at a distance
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Able to use manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and fine motor skills
- Must be able to walk at least 10,000 steps per shift, including stairs, inclines, and declines
- Able to pivot, transition between seated and standing positions, kneel, stoop, and lift throughout shifts
- Able to work in confined spaces
- Comfortable working in loud, distracting environments
- Able to multitask and work efficiently with speed, accuracy, and composure in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant and entertainment venue under pressure
